N.
J. Lindquist is an award-winning author and speaker.
She grew up reading Trixie Beldon and Nancy Drew, switched to the
works of Agatha Christie, Erle Stanley Gardiner, Georgette Heyer,
Dorothy Sayers, and P. D. James, and eventually decided to try her
hand at writing a contemporary mystery in the classic style.
In addition
to Shaded Light and Glitter of Diamonds, she also
has written eight books for teens, a play, and a number of stories
and articles for both adults and teens. N. J. recently co-edited Hot
Apple Cider, an inspirational anthology featuring 30 Canadian
authors who are Christian, which is coming May, 2008.
A popular
speaker, N. J. is also an experienced writing teacher with expertise
in a number of areas. Formerly from the Canadian prairies, N. J.,
her husband Les, and their four sons have lived in Markham, Ontario
since 1986.
